The 3D Printer Filament, PLA, 1.75mm, Yellow, from Filamentive, is a thermoplastic filament made from renewable resources such as corn and sugarcane. It is biodegradable and has a low environmental impact during production. The filament has a diameter tolerance of ¬±0.05mm and a roundness of at least 95%. It exhibits a specific gravity of 1.24 g/cc and a melt flow index of 6.0 g/10 min. The tensile strength is measured at 110 MPa in the machine direction and 145 MPa in the transverse direction, with an elongation at break of 160% and 100% respectively. The tensile modulus is 3310 MPa (MD) and 3860 MPa (TD). The recommended printing temperature ranges from 180 to 210¬8C, with a melting temperature of approximately 210¬8C. The filament is designed to minimize warping, making it suitable for use without a heated bed, although a heated bed temperature of 35-60¬8C is recommended for optimal results. It is compatible with all common desktop FDM or FFF technology 3D printers. Proper storage conditions include a cool and dry environment, away from UV light, to enhance shelf life.
