Euchner-U.S.A., Inc. Solenoid Safety Switch TK

Description
EUCHNER Safety Switches are used to protect personnel by monitoring and interrupting the safety circuit depending on the position of the machine guard. The locking solenoid holds the guard closed until a stored energy hazard has dissipated. It can also prevent damage to a part in process due to an inadvertent machine shutdown. To meet current worldwide standards, safety interlock components cannot be easily bypassed. These switches have positive opening contacts (in accordance to NFPA 79) and redundancy to guarantee that they fail to a safe state. The TK switch utilizes the same body as the TP switch however has a metal actuating head and locking pin. This unique switch does not require a separate actuator just a separate hole on the door opposite of the actuating pin of the switch. Features Solenoid locking/unlocking Narrow body style housing Multiple cable entries Actuating head and guard locking pin made of metal Custom versions available Benefits Actuating pin Helps overcome actuator mis-alignment Narrow body Perfect for extruded aluminum guarding Manual solenoid bypass Simple front bypass Option rear release Technical Thermoplastic housing Environmental protection IP67- oil and dust tight, and water resistant Exceeds NEMA 4 Ambient operating temperature -20 to 55C 1 million mechanical operations Contacts Silver alloy, gold flashed Low current contacts 5000 N Locking Force 5 N Retention Force Solenoid Mechanical or electrical locking Voltage 24 VAC/DC 110VAC 230VAC 8 Watts Cable entry M20x1.5
