EOS4, a Type 4 light curtain with its compact housing profile and minimum dead zone, is ideal for the protection of any tool machine, in particular where space restrictions exist. Its very small dead zone, only present on one end, allows EOS4 to keep its resolution up to 30 mm if installed on a plan and up to 40 mm if installed at 90° against another EOS unit. EOS4 can easily connect with a remote safety controller using M12 connector unshielded cable in runs up to 100 meters. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS INCLUDE Presses, punching and dinking machines, cutters and shears, robotics, assembly lines and small machinery.
