Ensinger, Inc. TECATRON ® PVX

Description
Through TECATRON PVX black, Ensinger offers a filled PPS (PPS CS CF TF), which is a specially modified for use in sliding applications. The material contains 10% each of PTFE, graphite and carbon fibers which are added to the PPS to facilitate bearing and wear applications. The additives of the PPS compound result in an optimum coefficient of friction value, that makes the material ideally suited to dry running conditions. So TECATRON PVX is a bearing grade PPS that is suitable for high load applications, under high temperatures, and the effects of chemicals and steam. The PPS compound perfectly combines good mechanical properties with excellent thermal and chemical resistance properties. Facts Chemical designation: PPS (Polyphenylensulfide ) Color: black Density: 1,5 g/cm3 Main Features very good bearing and wear properties very good chemical resistance good heat deflection temperature inherent flame resistance high dimensional stability high stiffness high creep resistance Target industries mechanical engineering aircraft and aerospace technology automotive industry conveyor technology precision engineering textile industry
