GAR-FIL® filament wound bearings with PTFE tape liner are designed for high-load, high-speed applications with excellent friction and wear properties, contamination resistance, and chemical resistance. The bearing supports static and dynamic loads up to 140 N/mm², operates between -195 °C and 205 °C, and accommodates sliding speeds up to 2.5 m/s with a maximum pU factor of 1.23 N/mm²·m/s. The coefficient of friction ranges from 0.02 to 0.12 depending on operating conditions. Recommended shaft surface roughness is ≤0.4 µm and hardness exceeds 200 HB. The bearing is RoHS compliant and available in plain cylindrical bush forms, with custom geometries offered on request.
