EP® solid polymer plain bearings are self-lubricating, corrosion-resistant bearings designed for dry, lubricated, or marginally lubricated applications in industrial and medical equipment. They are available in standard plain cylindrical and flanged bush forms, manufactured by precision injection molding. The material operates from -40°C to 140°C, withstands static loads up to 80 N/mm² and dynamic loads up to 40 N/mm², and supports sliding speeds up to 1.0 m/s. The coefficient of friction ranges from 0.15 to 0.30, with optimal shaft surface roughness of 0.2-0.8 μm and hardness exceeding 200 HV. The bearings comply with RoHS, ELV, and WEEE standards.
Thermoplastic (PA) base material incorporating friction and wear modifiers and strengthened with fiber reinforcement. EP™ standard range bushes are interchangeable with DU™ standard metric range bushes. Manufactured by precision injection molding. Optimum performance under light-duty conditions.
