DP11 metal-polymer composite plain bearings are designed for dry-running applications with high-frequency, low-amplitude oscillating movements, suitable for linear, oscillating, and rotating motions. The bearing features a bronze backing with a sintered porous bronze layer and a PTFE-based sliding layer containing solid lubricants. It operates from -200°C to 280°C, supports a maximum static load of 250 N/mm² and dynamic load of 140 N/mm², and achieves a sliding speed up to 2.5 m/s dry or 5.0 m/s when oil-lubricated. The coefficient of friction ranges from 0.04 to 0.25 in dry conditions and 0.02 to 0.08 under oil lubrication. The material is lead-free and compliant with ELV, WEEE, and RoHS requirements, and meets FMVSS 302 flammability standards. Shaft surface roughness should be 0.3 to 0.5 μm for dry operation and ≤0.40 μm when lubricated, with a recommended hardness of HB > 200 for extended life.
