GGB DX™ 10 Metal-Polymer Plain Bearings 07 DX10

DX®10 metal-polymer plain bearings are designed for heavy-duty, high-load, and high-temperature applications with contamination, offering improved wear performance over bi-metal or bronze bushings. The bearing supports grease-lubricated operation up to 500 fpm (2.5 m/s) and oil-lubricated operation up to 2000 fpm (10.0 m/s), with a maximum pU factor of 80,000 psi·fpm (2.8 N/mm²·m/s). It operates between -40°F and 350°F (-40°C to 175°C) and handles static loads up to 36,000 psi (250 N/mm²) and dynamic loads up to 20,000 psi (140 N/mm²). The coefficient of friction ranges from 0.01 to 0.10 for grease lubrication and 0.01 to 0.06 for oil lubrication. The bearing is lead-free and compliant with RoHS and WEEE specifications. It is available in cylindrical bushes, thrust washers, sliding plates, and custom shapes. Shaft surface hardness should exceed 200 HB for normal use and 350 HB for extended service life, with a surface roughness of ≤16 μin (≤0.40 μm).
