GGB DX™ 10 Metal-Polymer Plain Bearings 01 DX10

DX®10 metal-polymer plain bearings are designed for heavy-duty, high-load, and high-temperature applications with contamination, offering improved wear performance over bi-metal or bronze bushings. They are available as cylindrical bushes, thrust washers, and custom shapes, with a lead-free, RoHS- and WEEE-compliant construction. The bearings operate from -40°C to 175°C, with a maximum static load of 250 N/mm² and dynamic load of 140 N/mm². Grease lubrication supports up to 2.5 m/s sliding speed and a pU factor of 2.8 N/mm²·m/s, while oil lubrication allows up to 10.0 m/s. The coefficient of friction ranges from 0.01 to 0.10 for grease and 0.01 to 0.06 for oil. Shaft surface hardness should exceed 200 HB, with 350 HB recommended for extended service life. The microstructure features a sintered porous bronze layer backed by steel and a high-tech polymer sliding layer optimized for grease and oil lubrication.
