The Model 225 non-contacting toroidal (inductive) conductivity sensor is intended for pharmaceutical and food and beverage applications where a sanitary design is required. Depending on the analyzer used, the Model 225 sensor can measure conductivity as low as15 uS/cm and as high as 2,000,000 uS/cm.
The sensor is available in glass-filled and unfilled PEEK and in unfilled Tefzel®. The unfilled PEEK sensor is available in two options: one meeting 3A sanitary and FDA food contact standards and the other meeting USP Class VI requirements.
The maximum temperature depends on the sensor materials. The limit for glass-filled PEEK and unfilled Tefzel is 230°F (110°C); for unfilled PEEK the limit is 266°F (130°C). The pressure limit is 200 psig (1480 kPa abs).
