The platforms are designed to hold a wide variety of storage devices depending on the configurations. The thermal engineering guarantees superior cooling with front-to-rear or side-to-side airflow, considering card, device and power supply requirements. Standard 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 slot backplanes can be mounted. Fix mount or plug-in power supplies are standard options. A primary consideration was EMC compliance.
