Heads are manufactured from fully hardened steel. Base and Top surface are ground for use as a datum face. Base Datum Face: 2 1/2in x 1/8in . Top Datum Face: 1in x 1/8in. Bevelled surface of datum face allows easy reading of rule. Rule clamped by spring loaded finger clamp. Rule manufactured from hardened and tempered stainless steel. Rules marked both sides with ground ends
