  This next generation of XLR's is the successor of the X series and has several improvements providing greater performance, reliability and assembly. A sleek new attractive design eliminates thread exposure while also preventing counterfeiters. The new larger teeth design and the improved chuck type strain relief increases retention force. Seven independent contact points increase conductivity and reduce wear and stress with a unique "cage" type female contact springs. A new ergonomic latch lock design mates reliably, gives postive tactile feedback, improves security, ease and speed of operation. This part is a 3 pole cable connector, female with a nickel housing and silver contacts.
