Dermagnostix has developed a small, easy to use FluoSens Fluorescence Measurement System, which is extremely sensitive, robust and affordable! The FluoSens systems use modern microsystems technology, state of the art LED and filter technology. They also use highly integrated embedded systems. The result is a fluorescence detector that can be used for mobile measurement systems or integrated into systems for online process monitoring (e.g. in production lines or labs).
Fluorescence is a special form of luminescence, an optical phenomenon in cold bodies, in which a molecule absorbs a high-energy photon, and reemits this light at a lower-energy or longer-wavelength. The term fluorescence is named after the mineral calcium fluoride, which has been seen to exhibit this phenomenon.

FluoSens:
supports simultaneous coaxial excitation and detection of two fluorescent dyes and offer high sensitivity, down to picomolar concentrations, across a broad range of applications in both fluorescence and reflectance modes,
easily integrates into optical benches, in-line or on-line systems, and can be used with fluids or solid surfaces without direct contact,
is fully customizable as well, offering a large range of wavelengths, measuring distances, and communication interfaces amongst others,
can either be used with our free measuring software or programmed individually,
is equipped with low-noise, long-term stable sensors and optimized with filters and excitation sources for all configurations in the UV-to-IR range.
