Edmund Optics Inc. PCV Axicon 140° Apex Angle, 25.4mm Dia, NIR I Coating NT86-795

Description
Creates a Ring Shaped Approximation of a Bessel Beam Ideal for Industrial or Life Sciences Applications To Control Ring Diameter, Use with Plano-Convex (PCX) Axicons Plano-Concave (PCV) Axicons are used in laser material processing applications to create a ring-shaped image along the optical axis, or to create a non-diffractive approximation of a Bessel beam. Plano-Concave (PCV) Axicons feature one concave conical surface and one plano surface. When used with a Plano-Convex (PCX) Axicon, the diameter of the Bessel beam can be controlled by the separation between the two Axicons, which is ideal for ablating corneal material in surgical procedures. Note: Due to the fabrication process, there is a 1mm diameter spherical indentation at the lowest point of the conical shape.
