Edmund Optics Inc. 0.19 NA 14mm FL Laser Tool Aspheric Lens, 600-1050nm Coating NT83-694

Description
Compact, Molded Aspheric Lens Design Improved Performance Compared to Doublet and Triplet Lenses Ideal for Laser Tools and Measurement Systems These Laser Tool Molded Aspheric Lenses are designed to fulfill the needs of a variety of tools and measurement systems utilizing laser diodes, including leveling lasers, projectors, scanners, trackers, and gun sights. By utilizing a single aspheric lens, the need for a multi-lens system is eliminated, allowing for a more compact and robust design. Each aspheric lens is offered uncoated or anti-reflection coated for optimum transmission in the 400 - 600nm, 600 - 1050nm, or 1050 - 1600nm wavelength range. The anti-reflection coating options of each Laser Tool Molded Aspheric Lenses provides <0.4% average reflection over the entire design wavelength range. In addition, the diffraction limited designs and coating options enable these aspheric lenses to be used with a multitude of common laser diodes throughout the visible and near-infrared spectrum.Aspheric lenses feature one surface whose radius changes with distance from the optical axis. This unique feature allows aspheric lenses to eliminate spherical aberration and greatly reduce other aberrations when compared to a simple spherical lens, delivering improved optical performance. Aspheric lenses are a high-performance suitable alternative to spherical doublet and triplet lenses. The use of just a single aspheric lens negates the time and expense of mounting and aligning multiple spherical lenses while improving quality and performance. In addition, reducing the number of elements helps to minimize transmission losses and overall system weight.
