TECHSPEC® Longpass and Shortpass Filters, Mounted for Imaging Lenses Variety of Transmission Bands Stack Shortpass and Longpass Filters Together to Create Custom Bandpass Filters Our TECHSPEC® Shortpass and TECHSPEC® Longpass filters are now available in M25.5 and M30.5mm mounts for imaging lenses. A shortpass filter can be used to remove red or NIR light from an imaging application, whereas a longpass filter can be used to remove violet or blue.We have specially designed our mounts to hold filters up to 6.5mm in thickness, allowing the user to add an additional shortpass or longpass filter to any of our premounted configurations in order to create custom, efficient bandpass filters.
