Edmund Optics Inc. Aspheric Lens 30mm Dia., 0.66 Numerical Aperture, NIR Coated NT66-331

Description
Designed and Manufactured by Edmund Optics Prescription Information Available As optical systems are pushed to be better, faster, and cheaper, it becomes necessary to explore aspheric solutions. Aspheric surfaces can increase the numerical aperture of a lens while minimizing system aberrations. Additionally, when designed into a lens system, aspheres may enable a reduction of lens elements, which can reduce weight, increase throughput, and simplify mechanical tolerancing and assembly. TECHSPEC® Precision Aspheric Lenses offer the benefits of an aspheric element combined with the manufacturing precision of state-of-the-art grinding and polishing equipment. With the available prescription data, these lenses can be easily designed and integrated into complex optical systems. Featuring low f/#s for optimum light gathering and focusing performance, these lenses are computer optimized to eliminate spherical and minimize higher order aberrations. VIS coating option provides <1.5% reflection from 425-675nm, whereas NIR coating provides <1.5% reflection from 600-1050nm. For custom coating requirements, please contact our Applications Engineering Department.
