They are ideal for focusing light into fibers as well as fiber coupling. Our TECHSPEC® Ball Lenses are available in N-BK7 and N-SF8 substrates as well as standard and high tolerance options. High tolerance options provided improved diameter and sphericity tolerance for the most demanding applications. (Sphericity is the deviation of the ball lens from a perfect sphere.)
