Ball Pivot and Fine Pitch Screws Provide Pitch and Roll 50% Greater Resolution than Micrometer Adjustments These mounts provide highly stable kinematic movement. Two axis tilt (pitch and roll) is provided by a precise ball pivot adjustment, with orthogonal three-point suspension. Adjustment is made by three 64-pitch screws (two 64-pitch screws for 1-2" diameter model). Adjustment is made by two 64-pitch screws for 6" diameter model and three 32-pitch screws for 8" up to 12.5" diameter models. Fine pitch screws permit 50% greater resolution than a micrometer. Angled base is for stand-alone installation or use #1/4 clearance holes for permanent positioning. These mounts have integral optic cell design. Optics are held undistorted by a threaded retainer for the 6" model and three mounting clips extend to hold our thickest mirrors for the 8" to 12.5" models. 10" and 12.5" cells have angled corners and shorter side brackets.
