The EA series are similar to the Altec and Electro Voice 15000* series audio transformers and meet or exceed their specifications. Bidirectional Design The EA series audio distribution transformers are designed for the amplifier or the speaker side of a voltage speaker distribution system. Because they are bidirectional they can be used in either direction. Continuous Use Design Each unit is designed to operate continuously. Primary The primary is designed for a 4 or 8 Ohms speaker. Secondary The secondary is designed for a 70V or 100V speaker distribution line. Magnet Wire All units are wound with the finest virgin copper magnet wire. All windings use heavy insulated wire to provide excellent manufacturing yield, lower customer cost and superior life. The Core EDCOR uses the finest M6 line grain oriented steel cores. Each unit is hand stacked to assure at least 92% stack. The Bobbins EDCOR's royal blue bobbin with black finishing tape. Termination The terminations are 0.25" (1/4") quick disconnects. Mounting This unit comes with zinc plated steel brackets for mounting with the use of four screws.
