It is constructed with a UL 94V-0 thermoplastic polyester insulator and utilizes copper alloy for its contacts, which are plated with gold on the mating area and tin on the tails, with nickel underplating throughout. This connector is rated for a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1200 V AC rms and an insulation resistance of at least 5000 megaohms. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
