The Card Edge Connector, Dual Side, 60Pos, Lug (part number 70AJ3556) features a 0.100,Äù (2.54mm) pitch and is designed to accommodate a nominal P.C. board thickness of 0.062,Äù (1.57mm). It is constructed with a UL 94V-0 thermoplastic polyester insulator and utilizes copper alloy for the contacts, which are plated with gold on the mating area and tin on the tails, with nickel underplating throughout. The connector supports a current rating of 3 amps and has a maximum contact resistance of 10 milliohms. This connector is rated for a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1200 V AC rms and offers a minimum insulation resistance of 5000 megaohms. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40¬8C to +105¬8C. The insertion force is capped at 16 oz (4.45 N) per contact pair, while the withdrawal force is a minimum of 1 oz (0.28 N) per contact pair.
