To Create Your Emergency Stop Switch, Follow Steps 1-4. Emergency stop switches are operated by simply pushing on the front cap to immediately break the circuit. They then may be released to reactivate the circuit by turning the front cap clockwise by hand. EAO emergency stop switches meet the new EN 418 directive for “foolproof” operation. They prevent teasing the actuator which could result in premature or unreliable operation and eliminate blocking the actuator operation with foreign objects.
