EA Elektro-Automatik Inc. EA Battery Simulator

Description
The Windows software EA Battery Simulator (EABS) is a graphical control surface for all bidirectional power supply units of the EA-PSB 9000 and EA-PSB 10000 series Software required. The software is used to simulate lead and lithium-ion batteries and their electrical and chemical characteristics during charging and discharging. It also contains a number of tables and libraries that were created in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute. In the battery profiles, which include initial values such as battery temperature, internal resistance and state of charge, test parameters such as B. the ambient temperature can be defined. The physical simulation is implemented by the PSB power supply unit in connection with a corresponding external DC source, for example a battery charger or a load such as a DC motor. The PSB device is largely automatically controlled by the software during the simulation. The user can record data at runtime and is also shown on the built-in graph. The software is optionally available and requires a license, which can be purchased, via a USB dongle. A free USB port on the PC is required to operate the dongle. Driver and documentation are included. Key Features: Simulates a wide range of battery voltages and capacities through the large voltage and current range of a PSB power supply unit Simulates lithium-ion or lead batteries, of which up to 400 x 400 pieces in a matrix Simulates or calculates battery properties such as voltage, charge / discharge current, internal resistance, battery temperature and state of charge Is used in the development and in final product tests of e.g. B. - Battery chargers and battery management systems - Batteries of various sizes and voltage classes Suitable for Li-ion batteries from 20-80 Ah and lead batteries from 35-140 Ah.
