Two patented details underline the sophisticated design of these pumps: The patented buffer ring supports and protects the wear ring of the impeller and the additional cooling path included in the patented flow path avoids overheating the impeller. These features result in a smooth running and reduced frictional wear even in difficult working conditions. The construction makes short-term operation against a closed valve possible and offers high dry running protection.
The functional principle of magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps includes a hermetic sealing in between the wetted pump head and the driving part of the pump - without any gliding sealing whatsoever.
The horizontal inlet and vertical outlet both carry flange rings not only designed to fit them to flanges according to DIN, ANSI and JIS standard but as well rotable for easy installation of the pump.
The TM-series is offered in five performance sizes within a range of 0,37 kW to 3,7 kW and a capacity between 225 and 850 l/min, each size available both in polypropylene and conductive ETFE. The TM series can either be supplied as pump heads (including outer magnet and IEC motor bracket) to be equipped with standardised IEC motors by the customer himself or complete pump-units consisting of pump head and motor.
In addition, the scope of sizes has recently been enlarged by a smaller series of pumps available in three sizes 0,065 kW to 0,25 kW. These pumps are available in either PP or PVDF and do always come complete with a motor.
