Cornell Dubilier Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor 550C502T450FF2DS

Description
Type 550C is the standard for motor drive and other high-ripple, long life applications. It boasts more than 25% extra ripple capability per can size, but less capacitance than Type 520C. Expected operating life is more than 100,000 hours in typical applications. Type 550C is rated for 10,000 h life with full ripple current, rated voltage, 85C and 100 lfm airflow while mounted horizontally. Horizontal mounting is more severe than vertical mounting. The extended cathode foil of the 550C assures heat flow from the capacitor element to the can in all orientations.
