DIODES Incorporated LED Drivers AP3039AMTR-G1

The AP3039AMTR-G1 is a high voltage low-side N-channel MOSFET controller designed for boost regulator applications. It operates within an input voltage range of 5V to 27V and features an adjustable operation frequency from 150kHz to 1MHz. The device includes essential functionalities such as Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO), programmable over voltage protection (OVP), and a soft start feature to minimize inrush current during power-up. This LED driver can deliver a peak gate drive current of 0.6A with a fast switching time of 20ns, and it supports a duty cycle limit of 90%. The OVP threshold can be set using external resistors, allowing for flexibility in design. The AP3039 is available in both QFN-3x3-16 and SOIC-14 package options, making it suitable for various applications including LED lighting, notebooks, and LCD display modules. However, it is noted that this part is not recommended for new designs, with a suggestion to use the AP3041 instead.
