The AP2115M-2.5TRG1 is a low dropout linear voltage regulator designed to provide a fixed output voltage of 2.5V with a minimum continuous load current of 1A. It features an output voltage accuracy of ¬±1.5% and low dropout voltage of approximately 450mV at 1A output. The device is stable with a minimum output capacitance of 4.7¬µF, compatible with ceramic, tantalum, and aluminum electrolytic capacitors. This regulator offers excellent line regulation of 0.02%/V (typical) and load regulation of 0.2%/A across a load range from 1mA to 1A. It operates with a low quiescent current of 60¬µA and has a low output noise of 30¬µV RMS. The AP2115M-2.5TRG1 includes features such as fold-back short current protection, over-temperature shutdown protection, and operates over a temperature range of -40¬8C to 85¬8C. It is available in SOT-89-5 and SOIC-8 packages, making it suitable for various applications including LCD monitors and TVs.
