The S971 series comprises 72-pitch, 20° pressure angle anti-backlash spur gears with 303 stainless steel gears and hubs, and 302 stainless steel torsion springs. Gears are available in bore sizes of 1/8, 3/16, or 1/4 inch, with pin or clamp hub styles, and are optionally made from 2024-T4 or -T351 aluminum alloy, anodized before cutting. The gear with 38 teeth has a pitch diameter of 0.5278 inch and an outside diameter of 0.556 inch. All variants share a 0.104-inch face width and comply with AGMA 10 standards.
