KSW3-L1J20 is a module 3, left-handed, mild steel worm gear with one start, a 20 mm bore, and a 6 mm × 2.8 mm keyway conforming to JIS B1301 Js9 tolerance. It has a helix angle of 3°55', a face width of 35 mm, and an overall length of 50 mm. The part weighs 0.56 kg and is designed for use with KCG or KBG series worm wheels. The worm is not heat treated and has a tooth hardness of less than 194 HB. It achieves a precision grade of KHK W 001 grade 4. The keyway and set screw are included as standard, with no heat hardening applied to avoid degradation of tooth contact.
