KSUS3-28J40 is a module 3, stainless steel spur gear with 40 teeth, a 40 mm bore, and a 12 mm wide keyway with M8 set screw. It has a pitch diameter of 120 mm, an outside diameter of 126 mm, a face width of 30 mm, and a hub width of 20 mm. The gear is made from SUS303 with a hardness less than 194 HB and meets JIS grade N8 precision (JIS B1702-1: 1998). The allowable torque is 10 N·m (1.02 kgf·m), and the backlash is specified as 0.18 to 0.38 mm. The total length is 50 mm. Keyways comply with JIS B1301 (Js9 tolerance).
