KSSG2.5-17J17 is a ground spur gear with module 2.5, 17 teeth, and a 17 mm bore diameter. It has a pitch diameter of 42.5 mm, outside diameter of 47.5 mm, face width of 25 mm, and total length of 43 mm. The keyway is 5 mm wide by 2.3 mm deep, conforming to JIS B1301 Js9 tolerance. The gear is made of S45C steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50-60 HRC. Precision grade is S1, equivalent to JIS B1702-1:1998 N7. Backlash is 0.10-0.20 mm. Allowable torque is 0.33 N·m. The gear is not suitable for secondary operations on tooth areas due to induction hardening.
