KSSG1.5-45 J30 is a ground spur gear in the J Series with a module of 1.5, 30 teeth, and a finished bore diameter of 30 mm. It is made from S45C steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50-60 HRC, and meets JIS grade N7 precision per JIS B1702-1:1998. The pressure angle is 20°, face width is 15 mm, hub width is 14 mm, and total length is 29 mm. The keyway is 8 mm wide by 3.3 mm deep. Backlash is specified as 0.10 to 0.18 mm for a meshed pair of identical gears. A set screw of M6 is used, with an allowable torque of 0.47 N·m. Secondary operations on the tooth areas are not permitted due to induction hardening.
