KSSG1.5-42J28 is a ground spur gear with a module of 1.5, 42 teeth, and a 6 x 2.8 mm keyway, machined from S45C steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces rated at 50~60 HRC. It has a precision grade equivalent to JIS B1702-1:1998 Grade N7, a 20° pressure angle, and a theoretical backlash of 0.10~0.18 mm. The gear has a bore diameter of 28 mm, an outside diameter of 66 mm, a face width of 15 mm, and a total length of 29 mm. Allowable torque is 0.43 N·m (0.44 kgf·m). No secondary operations are permitted on the tooth area due to induction hardening. A set screw is included. Products in the J series require a lead time of up to five working days and are limited to 1-20 units per order.
