KSSG Series ground spur gears are precision steel gears with a module of 1, 20° pressure angle, and S45C material with induction-hardened tooth surfaces rated at 50~60 HRC. The KSSG1-42J variant has 42 teeth, a 30 mm pitch diameter, 44 mm outside diameter, 18 mm face width, 10 mm hub width, and 44 mm total length, with an 18 mm finished bore, a 5 mm keyway (5x5 mm), and a single set screw. Allowable torque is 10.5 N·m (1.07 kgf·m), and backlash is 0.08~0.16 mm. The gear meets JIS grade N7 precision (JIS B1702-1: 1998). Secondary operations on tooth surfaces are prohibited due to induction hardening.
