KSSG series ground spur gears are precision-machined steel gears with module 1, 20° pressure angle, and S45C material subjected to induction hardening (50-60 HRC). They conform to JIS grade N7 (JIS B1702-1:1998) with standard full-depth teeth. The KSSG1-32J variant has a 14 mm bore, 32 teeth, 38 mm pitch diameter, 40 mm outside diameter, 18 mm face width, and 44 mm total length. It features a 5 mm wide by 5 mm deep keyway and a set screw for shaft retention. Allowable torque is 7.37 N·m (0.75 kgf·m) with backlash between 0.08 and 0.16 mm. Secondary operations on tooth surfaces are prohibited due to induction hardening.
