Made from S45C steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50~60 HRC, precision grade JIS N7 (JIS B1702-1: 1998) and JIS 3 (JIS B1702: 1976), standard full-depth teeth at 20° pressure angle. Allowable torque is 33.5 N·m for bending strength and 23.0 N·m for surface durability, with theoretical backlash of 0.04~0.18 mm and weight of 0.22 kg. No secondary operations allowed on tooth areas due to induction hardening.
