KSSCP5-40 is a steel spur gear with a 5 mm circular pitch, 40 teeth, standard full-depth teeth, and a 20° pressure angle. It has a pitch diameter of 63.66 mm, outside diameter of 66.85 mm, face width of 200 mm, and total length of 400 mm. The gear is made of S45C, with a tooth hardness less than 194 HB, and meets JIS grade N8 (JIS B1702-1:1998) or JIS grade 4 (JIS B1702:1976).
