KSS3-40J32 is a module 3, 32-tooth steel spur gear made of S45C with a 10 mm bore and keyway as per JIS B1301 (Js9 tolerance). It has a 20° pressure angle, standard full-depth teeth, and JIS grade N8 precision (JIS B1702-1:1998). The gear has a maximum allowable torque of 2.95 N·m under specified conditions. The backlash tolerance is 0.18 to 0.38 mm. The product is designed for use with a set screw and is not black oxide coated in areas subject to secondary operations.
