KSS2-29J12 is a module 2, 12-tooth steel spur gear with a 12 mm bore, a keyway sized 4 mm width by 1.8 mm depth, and an M4 set screw. It is made of S45C steel with a tooth hardness less than 194 HB, operates at a 20° pressure angle with standard full-depth teeth, and meets JIS grade N8 precision (JIS B1702-1:1998). The gear has a backlash range of 0.14 to 0.30 mm and weighs 0.56 kg. It is part of the KSS2 series, for which keyways follow JIS B1301 Js9 tolerance and set screws are included for tapped holes.
