KSS1-25C is a metric steel spur gear with module 1, 25 teeth, and a keyway cut for a 4 mm wide by 1.8 mm deep key, with M4 set screw mounting. It has a pitch diameter of 25 mm, outside diameter of 27 mm, face width of 10 mm, and total length of 20 mm. The gear is made from S45C steel with a tooth hardness of less than 194 HB, precision grade JIS N8 per JIS B1702-1:1998, and a 20° pressure angle. Backlash is specified as 0.08 to 0.18 mm, and allowable torque is 0.049 N·m (0.005 kgf·m). Weight is 0.049 kg. Set screws are not applicable for high-load applications; dowel pins are recommended for secure mounting.
