KSBS5-1845L is a 22-tooth, left-hand spiral bevel gear with a module of 5 mm, pressure angle of 20°, helix angle of 35°, and S45C material that has induction-hardened teeth at 50-60 HRC. It has a bore diameter of 90 mm, pitch diameter of 103.87 mm, outside diameter of 135 mm, hub diameter of 80 mm, face width of 52.5 mm, and total length of 103.87 mm. The gear pair has an allowable torque of 19.0 N·m (14.3 kgf·m) for bending strength and 14.3 N·m (10.7 kgf·m) for surface durability, with backlash of 1.94 mm. Mounting distance is 135 mm, crown-to-back length is 56.9 mm, and hub width is 20.5 mm. It meets JIS B 1704:1978 grade 4 precision. The bore may require reaming after heat treatment.
