KPSA2-90J16 is a plastic spur gear with a module of 2, 16 teeth, and a 5 mm wide by 2.3 mm deep keyway, made of MC901 nylon. It has a pitch diameter of 32 mm, an outside diameter of 36.6 mm, a face width of 20 mm, and a backlash of 0 to 0.46 mm. The gear is precision-rated to JIS grade N9 (JIS B1702-1:1998) with a 20° pressure angle and standard full-depth teeth. The allowable torque is 0.66 N·m (0.067 kgf·m). The bore is not finished to H8 tolerance but may vary with temperature and humidity. The keyway conforms to JIS B1301 (Js9 tolerance).
