KPSA2-65J18 is a plastic spur gear with module 2, 18 teeth, and a 6 mm keyway (6 x 2.8 mm) according to JIS B1301 standards. It is made of MC901 nylon, has a pitch diameter of 36 mm, outside diameter of 40 mm, face width of 20 mm, and a theoretical backlash of 0 to 0.46 mm. The allowable torque is 0.31 N·m (0.031 kgf·m). The gear conforms to JIS grade N9 (JIS B1702-1: 1998) precision and has a 20° pressure angle with standard full-depth teeth. A steel hub is recommended for secure shaft mounting under high temperature, large diameter, or reverse load conditions. Dimensional changes may occur due to temperature and humidity fluctuations.
