KPSA2.5-48J40 is a plastic spur gear with a module of 2.5, 48 teeth, and a 40 mm bore, made of MC901 nylon with a JIS grade N9 precision rating, 20° pressure angle, and standard full-depth teeth. It has a 12 mm × 3.3 mm keyway conforming to JIS B1301 Js9 tolerance, a pitch diameter of 120 mm, an outside diameter of 125 mm, a face width of 25 mm, an allowable torque of 0.30 N·m (0.031 kgf·m), and a backlash of 0~0.48 mm. The gear is designed for use with steel hubs for secure shaft attachment under high-temperature, high-load, or reversive conditions.
