The KPSA2-100J25 is a plastic spur gear with a module of 2, 25 teeth, and a 8 mm x 3.3 mm keyway, made from MC901 nylon with a precision grade equivalent to JIS grade N9. It has a pitch diameter of 50 mm, an outside diameter of 54 mm, a face width of 20 mm, an allowable torque of 0.65 N·m (0.066 kgf·m), and a theoretical backlash of 0 to 0.46 mm. The gear is designed for use with steel hubs for secure shaft mounting, particularly under high thermal load or heavy duty conditions, and is intended to be mated with steel gears to avoid heat generation without lubrication.
