The KPS1 series consists of plastic spur gears made from MC901 material with a 20° pressure angle and standard full-depth teeth, certified to JIS grade N9 (JIS B1702-1:1998) and JIS grade 5 (JIS B1702:1976). The KPS1-50J17 variant has 50 teeth, a 17mm bore, a 50mm pitch diameter, a 52mm outside diameter, a 10mm face width, a 20mm hub width, and a total length of 35mm. It features a keyway compliant with JIS B1301 (Js9 tolerance) and is designed for use with a set screw, compatible with a 6x2.8mm metric thread. The allowable torque is 0.054 N·m, and the backlash tolerance is 0~0.36 mm. The gear is intended for use with steel mating gears to avoid heat generation from plastic-to-plastic contact.
