The KPS1.5-55J16 is a plastic spur gear in the KPS Module 1.5 series, with 55 teeth, a 16 mm bore, and a keyed hub with a 5 x 2.3 mm keyway. It is made of MC901 nylon, has a 20° pressure angle, and meets JIS grade N9 (equivalent to S1) precision. The gear has a pitch diameter of 82.5 mm, outside diameter of 85.5 mm, face width of 15 mm, hub width of 10 mm, and total length of 25 mm. It is rated for a maximum allowable torque of 7.36 N·m (0.75 kgf·m) and has a theoretical backlash of 0 to 0.40 mm. A set screw is included for fastening.
