The KPS1.5 series comprises plastic spur gears made of MC901 nylon with a 20° pressure angle, standard full-depth teeth, and JIS grade N9 precision (equivalent to S1). The gear has 45 teeth, a module of 1.5, a pitch diameter of 67.5 mm, an outside diameter of 70.5 mm, a face width of 15 mm, and a hub width of 25 mm. The finished bore diameter is 22 mm, machined to JIS B1301 Js9 tolerance. The allowable torque is 0.59 N·m. The gear includes a set screw and is designed for mating with steel gears to avoid heat generation. Dimensional changes may occur due to temperature and humidity fluctuations. Keyways are not present on this variant. A set screw is included for fastening.
